The average wait time for equipment entering and exiting the stop points is calculated by our system to optimize operational efficiency and minimize delays in the workflow. You will exactly know, when building up the data with our system, and planning the shipments, how long the route will be, not just from Stop A to Stop B, but the average wait time will be included in route duration.
The inventory sections shows real-time equipment that is currently inside that stop point, whether is it a vehicle or trailer, and it's giving as an average wait time for the sitting or parked equipment in that stop point.
Definitions:
- Inventory displays equipment at the stop point in real-time.
- History displays equipment that have arrived and departed.
Glance from the Stop Points list
Average Wait Time column showed in the stop point menu shows you an average wait time of your equipment in your stop points based on the history of in and outs of your equipment.
Glance from the Stop Point Profile
When going to a stop point profile you will be able to see the average wait time of your equipment only for that stop point just like you were from the Stop Points list. This is still based on the history of the in and out data. Notice we are on the General tab.
Now if you go to Inventory tab you are able to see in real time, if selected vehicles, that are sitting in that location with the aging which gives you an average wait time for the current equipment on that location in real-time.
For the trailers it's the same thing, when selecting trailers tab, it will show us a number of trailers that are sitting in that location, currently or in a real time, and the system gives us an average wait time for these trailers based on their aging.
