Summary:
In this guide we will cover 3 options:
- Revert to Planner
- Cancel Shipment
- Revert Last Action
Revert to Planner
1. To revert a shipment, navigate to the Shipments page, click on the three dots, and select the Revert option. Once the shipment is successfully reverted, it will return to the Planner.
Please note: When reverting a shipment, your driver will be removed from the shipment. If you have brokered the shipment to a carrier, the carrier will be removed from the shipment and will receive a cancellation notice via email.
2. An alternative way is to navigate directly in the shipment page then head to the three dots menu on the upper right side of the screen.
3. After this step you will scroll down to the bottom, and you will find Revert to Planner
4. When you click on that option it will revert all the arrivals and departures for the shipment. You can use this option if you want to cancel the shipment. Also, it will ask you if you are sure that you want to revert the shipment and will give you info that the customer will not be billed, carrier will be unassigned and shipment cancellation e-mail will be sent to the carrier contact, After that the shipment will be moved back to the Planner section.
5. Afterwards, once you have Reverted the Shipment, it will automatically open the Planner tab with the shipment. You can click on the 3 dots that are located on the right side of your shipment and a dropdown menu will open up.
After that, you will have options to cancel the shipment or to dry run the shipment.
Note: Please note that you can dry run the shipment without reverting the shipment.
Cancel Shipment
1. Cancelling a shipment can only be done from the planner.
2. Once you cancel a shipment, it will no longer be visible on the planner. However, you can still search for it in the planner to find all your cancelled shipments by navigating to the search bar and clicking the blue + button. This will expand an advanced search which you can use the status drop down to select Cancelled. This will display all of your cancelled shipments.
Revert Last Action
1. This option will revert the arrival of the driver at the shipper. When you click on that option it will undo the driver’s arrival or loading status at the shipper or receiver. It will ask you if you are sure that you want to revert your last action.
If you are sure that you want to revert the last action you can click Revert Last Action and it will undo the arrival or departure.
